* WHAT...Southwest winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 45 kt possible on Sunday, becoming west 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt Sunday night, then becoming northwest 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 40 kt Monday and Monday night. Waves 9 to 14 ft possible. * WHERE...Lake Superior West of Line from Manitou Island to Marquette MI Beyond 5NM from shore, Lake Superior East of a line from Manitou Island to Marquette MI and West of a line from Grand Marais MI to the US/Canadian Border Beyond 5NM from shore and Lake Superior from Grand Marais MI to Whitefish Point MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border. * WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southwest winds on Sunday will turn westerly Sunday night and then northwesterly on Monday.
