Alert Description
* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways (5.5 to 5.7 feet Mean Lower Low Water). * WHERE...Nantucket MA County. * WHEN...Until 2 PM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Low lying areas and roads near Nantucket Harbor, including Easy Street, may experience pockets of shallow flooding less than one foot deep. Sub-freezing temperatures and very cold road surfaces could allow storm surge to freeze, prolonging impacts and delaying drainage after high tide periods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Two additional high tide cycles will result in pockets of minor coastal flooding. The first is very late tonight with the second around lunchtime Monday.

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
