Alert Description

At 427 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Columbus to 9 miles northwest of Spartanburg to 14 miles east of Greenville Downtown. Movement was northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Spartanburg, Boiling Springs SC, Duncan, Lyman, Wellford, Inman, Campobello, Lake Bowen, USC Upstate, and Fingerville.
