...The National Weather Service in Pendleton OR has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Washington... Naches River near Naches affecting Yakima County. For the Naches River...including Cliffdell, Naches...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Naches River near Naches. * WHEN...From this evening to late Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Moderate flooding is possible from Cliffdell downstream to Yakima. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 PM PDT Wednesday the stage was 17.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 19.4 feet late Saturday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday evening to 17.3 feet late Tuesday morning. It will rise above flood stage to 18.1 feet Wednesday, March 25. It will then fall below flood stage again Thursday, March 26. - Flood stage is 17.8 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.0 feet on 11/30/1995. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
