Alert Description

* WHAT...Snow accumulations from yesterday and last night will remain in place today and hazardous travel will persist. Additionally, cold morning temperatures will allow any moisture or snow on roads, bridges, and overpasses to freeze tonight. * WHERE...All of central North Carolina. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.

Safety Instructions

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
